The MR-MOD network audio Media Renderer is an easy-to-integrate OEM solution for high-end network audio playback systems. It plays music from streams, from a file server or an Internet radio,
acting as a UPnP AV/DLNA Media Renderer device.
For the best digital audio quality, the audio stream is asynchronous and the module's digital audio output port accepts an external clock. Using this concept, the design can benefit of a local high quality oscillator and an optimal clock distribution to achieve jitter-free playback. The Media Renderer supports high definition stereo audio formats such as 192kHz 24-bit PCM, DXD up to 384kHz 32-bit, DSD64 and DSD128.

The NMR interface is basically a backplane for the MR-MOD module. Among other features, it provides an RJ45 socket, two local master clock oscillators, a clock management circuit, flex cable connectors for I2S output and SPI access as well as a buffered and isolated S/PDIF output. The NMR interface allows for easy integration or technology evaluation.
